Service Description
Provides grief and bereavement support to clients’ families. Volunteers support families for one year after the death, offering the next of kin a safe environment to grieve. Family can opt-out at any time. This is friendly support, not professional counselling.
Eligibility
Anyone who is deemed palliative and is no longer receiving curative treatment for an illness within Saskatoon.
Application Process
Call the office to start the referral process - 306-249-5554. Referrals can be made by anyone, self, family, care provider etc
