Service Description

A supportive housing program for women who are at risk of losing their children into the care of the Ministry of Social Services or for women who have already lost their children to the care of the Ministry and are working toward having the children returned.

Provides:

  • 24/7 hour staff support
  • a safe, stable, and supportive living environment
  • support and appropriate referrals for residents in areas of addictions, abuse, anger management, and more
  • assistance in regaining custody of their children
  • an environment that fosters the development of basic life skills and healthy lifestyles
  • a holistic approach to help residents understand how mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being is important to being a good parent.

Eligibility

Females with dependent children who may be at risk with or already placed in care with the Ministry of Social Services. Contact program supervisor for specific eligibility requirements.

Application Process

Referrals must be made through the Ministry of Social Services. Speak with your social worker who will refer you to the program.
