Service Description
A registered Social Worker supports and connects those using opioids or those who know someone using opioids with appropriate resources to help address their needs, including (but not limited to):
- Connection to a Peer Support Worker
- Assistance getting into addictions treatment and recovery programs
- Help with housing, food, and clothing
- Referrals to other agencies or medical professionals
- Physical and mental health supports
- Advocacy
- Training on risks associated with opioid use and how to respond to an overdose situation
Eligibility
Individuals with opioid addiction.
