Service Description
Provides support to individuals facing barriers to obtaining or maintaining employment.
Services include:
- Employment exploration and one-on-one counselling
- Goal setting and action plan development
- Resume and cover letter assistance
- Interview skills training and mock interviews
- Referrals to community services for additional support (for example anger management, addictions, parenting skills)
- Employment supports for eligible participants (such as safety tickets, work clothing, bus passes)
- Help with applications for continuing education (Adult Basic Education, literacy, or diploma programs)
