Service Description
Provides adult amputees with financial assistance towards the cost of artificial limbs, as well as advocacy assistance and information about life as an amputee.
Service offers:
• financial assistance towards the cost of artificial limbs
• information booklets on topics such as pain and phantom limbs, limb care and hygiene, back pain, gait, driving and employment
• advocacy for amputees who have encountered difficulty accessing health care, important financial benefits and/or legal rights
Eligibility
Amputees 18 and over living in Canada.
