Service Description

Provides specialized and comprehensive support for families with missing children. Helps families cope with the stress of a missing child, during the investigation, and after reunification by helping them gain access to local agencies and resources established to help with the complex issues around missing children and child abduction.

TO REPORT A MISSING CHILD: Call 9-1-1. 
TO REGISTER A MISSING CHILD: Call 1-800-661-6160.

Eligibility

Anyone who has lost a child or is concerned that child may go missing.

Application Process

If your child is missing, please follow these steps:
1) Contact your local police authority immediately by dialing 9-1-1
2) Register your case with the Missing Children Society of Canada by contacting the investigators on the 24-hour, toll-free line: 1-800-661-6160.

May possibly need custody order or missing persons report.
