Service Description

Ensures eligible former Indian Residential School students and their families have access to emotional health and wellness support services and can safely address emotional health and wellness issues related to the disclosure of childhood abuses. Includes frontline emotional support, facilitation, and coordination of other support services. Program intends to build capacity among individuals, families, and communities, which includes workshops such as suicide prevention training, traditional parenting skills (including supporting intergenerational family units), and addressing intergenerational impacts and addictions.
