Service Description
Works to retain Woodlands Cree culture and provide support to community members.
- Provides wild game and fish for distribution to Elders and other community members who are unable to maintain their traditional diets.
- Provides gardening with/for Elders and maintains safe walkways for Elders.
- Holds events and coordinates educational sessions to build community capacity and address substance issues in a holistic manner for youth, families, and Elders.
- Gives community members the opportunity to be involved in activities without drugs, alcohol, or other addictive behaviour.
Eligibility
Members who reside in La Ronge (Kitsaki), Hall Lake, Sucker River, Little Red River, and Grandmother's Bay communities.
