Service Description
A support group for grandmothers. Offers cultural activities and time for socialization. Participants share parenting skills and encourage self-love and healing for themselves.
The Children’s Program is a component of the Grandmother’s Program where children actively take part in the group. This enhances relationship building through games and activities and allows grandchildren to develop and maintain healthy social and behavior skills. The cultural component teach values and respect for themselves and others.
Eligibility
Indigenous grandmothers who have grandchildren and/or great grandchildren in their care.
