Service Description

Provides support to women and girls involved in the justice system as they transition back into their community. Support services include:

  • Attend probation meetings
  • Search for transitional and long-term housing; view apartments
  • Transportation to food bank, appointments, prescriptions, to and around Saskatoon
  • Social assistance advocacy
  • Child and family reunification support
  • Obtain educational transcripts
  • Assist with furniture and household items
  • Assistance with getting ID (birth certificates, health cards, treaty cards)
  • Referrals to in-patient treatment beds
  • Court appearance reminders and transportation
  • Provides clothing and hygiene products
  • Accompaniment to emergency mental health services
  • Communication with family members
  • Provides brief, solution-focused interventions and planning and more.

Eligibility

Provincially and federally sentenced women.
