Service Description
Offers a six-bed inpatient substance use treatment program for youth (12 – 18 years, all genders). Provides youth with opportunities to evaluate how their substance misuse impacts their lives and the lives of those around them. Offers a culturally appropriate, non-discriminatory and sensitive setting.
- Provides group educational and recreational programming tailored to meet the needs of individual residents
- Group and individual counselling
- Length of stay is decided on an individual basis
- Group sessions are once a day with a minimum of two session topics
- Individual and family sessions are available if parents/guardians are involved
- Requires twelve step meetings in the community, minimum two times/week.
- Residents are required to participate in their schoolwork
- Offers post discharge planning which includes vocation skills development and connection to additional services in the community.

Eligibility
- 12 to 18 years old - All Genders - Parental/Guardian Consent (ages 12-15) - Minimum 2 weeks detoxed prior to admission date - Stable mentally/behaviorally - Provincial access
Application Process
To Self Refer:
1. Read the Participant Manual to understand what to expect.
2. Speak with your parent(s)/guardian(s) about your interest in attending treatment.
3. Call 306-773-0567 or email: admissions@southwestyes.com to discuss options.
4. If interested provide full name, birth date, health number, address, and phone number.
5. You will be called to begin the intake process.
For Parent/Guardian Referrals:
1. Read the Participant Manual.
2. Speak with your youth about your interest in them attending treatment.
3. Call 306-773-0567 or email: admissions@southwestyes.com) to discuss options.
4. If your youth is interested they will need to provide their full name, birth date, health number, address, and phone number.
5. You will be called to begin the intake process.
Referrals from a teacher, friend, family member, pastor, etc.:
1. Read the Participant Manual.
2. Talk to the youth and parent(s)/guardian(s) and share your thoughts on the youth's need for the services.
