Service Description
Offers a outpatient substance use treatment spaces for youth (six spaces, 12 – 18 years, all genders).
- Participants attend Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Provides group educational and recreational programming tailored to meet the needs of individual participants, including group and individual counselling.
- Group sessions take place once a day with a minimum of two session topics.
- Individual and family sessions are available if parent/guardians are involved.
- Participants attend twelve step meetings in the community (minimum two times a week).
- Residents are required to participate in their schoolwork.
- Post discharge planning includes vocation skills development and connecting to additional services in the community.

Eligibility
- 12 to 18 years old - All Genders - Reside in Swift Current/area - Parental/Guardian Consent - Minimum 2 weeks detoxed prior to admission date - Stable mentally/behaviorally - Local access (Swift Current and Area)
Application Process
To Self Refer:
1. Read the Participant Manual to understand what to expect.
2. Speak with your parent(s)/guardian(s) about your interest in attending treatment.
3. Call 306-773-0567 or email: admissions@southwestyes.com to discuss options.
4. If interested provide full name, birth date, health number, address, and phone number.
5. You will be called to begin the intake process.
For Parent/Guardian Referrals:
1. Read the Participant Manual.
2. Speak with your youth about your interest in them attending treatment.
3. Call 306-773-0567 or email: admissions@southwestyes.com) to discuss options.
4. If your youth is interested they will need to provide their full name, birth date, health number, address, and phone number.
5. You will be called to begin the intake process.
Referrals from a teacher, friend, family member, pastor, etc.:
1. Read the Participant Manual.
2. Talk to the youth and parent(s)/guardian(s) and share your thoughts on the youth's need for the services.
