Service Description
A transitional residence for female youth between the ages of 12 – 18 years who may be experiencing risks in their own homes or in the community. Program provides:
- Temporary home for youth
- 24/7 Support
- Life Skills Training (i.e. cooking, meal planning, laundry, personal hygiene)
- Training for conflict and crisis situations
- Case management support
- Access to in-house counsellor
- Spiritual care support, including cultural support.
NOTE: Ministry of Child and Family Services workers make referrals to Bethany Home while creating a plan for youth to return home or move to a long term program in the community.
Eligibility
Female youth between the ages of 12 - 18 years. Residents are referred by the Ministry of Child and Family Services.
