Service Description
Decision Making Responsibility/Parenting Time
- General information regarding decision-making responsibility (formerly named “custody”) and parenting time (formerly named “access” time) can be obtained from Family Law Saskatchewan.
High Conflict Parenting Situations
- Parenting Assessments – In a high conflict situation a judge may order an assessment to help decide the best parenting arrangements for children whose parents cannot agree on decision-making responsibility for their children and parenting time.
- Supervised Parenting Time/Exchange – This is a service facilitated by social workers and trained observers to alleviate any anxiety for the child. The exact service provided depends on the court order and the family’s needs.
