Service Description
A social and recreation program for newcomer ages 55+ designed to help minimize the incidents of social isolation and lack of access to community resources.
Program activities include:
- English Language Lessons
- Health and Fitness Sessions
- Healthy Cooking
- Field Trips
- Volunteering in the Community.
Eligibility
Newcomer women and men ages 55+ and any residency status: Permanent Resident, Citizen, Visitor or Work Permit.
Application Process
Register anytime. Registration available at IWS main office.
