A counselling service for youth age 16 to 17. Offered by a contractual agreement with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Social Services (MSS), Family and Youth Services, Youth Unit. Provides quick access upon referral from the Youth Unit and covers five family counselling sessions.
When the parents are available and willing to attend along with the teen, the focus is on negotiation to resolve conflicts and establish a living together contract. Service will be provided to the youth alone when the parent(s) is unavailable, so that a stable and healthy living situation can be established.
