Service Description
Provides a space to cool down or warm up in times of extreme weather.
Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Monday – Sunday 7:15 pm – 6:45 am (starting November 1 for winter months only)
Offers:
- Coffee, water and snacks all day
- Lunch – 12:00 pm (noon) (until no more meals available)
- Outdoor water station in the summer
- Access to washroom
- Boutique – Mon, Wed, Fri 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (noon)
- Showers and laundry – Mon – Fri
- Winter clothing and blankets when available
- Distribute HIV testing and Narcan kits
- Nurses on Tuesday do all types of vaccinations
- Nurses on Wednesday do HIV and Hep C testing
- Community fridge
- Other programs: milk, hamper, mattress, baby
