Service Description

Provides online and in-person education for drivers to demonstrate how to properly adjust mirrors, seat, steering wheel and head restraint, plus tips to help stay safe behind the wheel.

Also provides education to assist mature drivers in understanding and applying the built-in safety features of their vehicle. Helps identify how the fit of your vehicle can affect driving and how minor adjustments and adaptations can assist with changing needs.

Provided in partnership with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.

Eligibility

Open to drivers of any age but meant for older adults 55 and over.

Application Process

Complete the online form and the CarFit coordinator will be in contact regarding registration for a CarFit Clinic.
