Service Description

An online peer support community for those who have been diagnosed or who have a loved one who has been diagnosed with cancer. People offer support, tips and insights from their lived experience. Membership in this community is free and open to people 18 years of age and older.

Topics that members may discuss include:

  • stress and waiting for test results
  • coping with treatment and side effects
  • self-care tips for caregivers
  • living with advanced cancer
  • how best to communicate and ask questions of their healthcare team
  • where to find practical resources such as financial assistance, home care or transportation to treatment.

Eligibility

Persons with cancer and their loved ones. Must be 18 years of age or older to register.
