Service Description

Provides youth (ages 12-16) who are in care of the Ministry of Social Services with stable, safe and supportive long-term housing.

Basewood Place is a peer home with support staff available for youth 24/7. The goal of the program is to meet youth where they are in life and support them on their journey to healthy long-term development. Youth require ongoing support in their decision-making process and are guided by caseworkers as they grow toward future independence.

NOTE: Residence location is private – details provided upon application/intake.

Eligibility

Youth 12 - 16 years of age involved with criminal justice or child welfare system. All referrals come to us through the Ministry of Social Services.
