Provides a supportive, practical, one-on-one process that helps students learn self-knowledge and self-awareness, self-advocacy skills, critical thinking, test anxiety, time management, reading comprehension, short & long-term memory, notetaking, study and other academic skills. Helps develop the structure necessary to improve academically and overcome academic challenges.  Students work one-on-one with a coach who provides encouragement, recommendations, strategies, feedback, and practical techniques for improving school performance. Starts with a free, in-depth consultation to allow clients to learn about the process and develop goals and priorities. Regular meetings after consultation to develop structures and supports to assist in accomplishing academic goals.
