Service Description
Offers a community-based children’s program that focuses on early childhood development for First Nations, Inuit and Métis children and their families living off-reserve. The program provides structured half-day preschool experiences for Aboriginal children focused on six program components:
- Aboriginal culture and language
- Education and school readiness
- Health promotion
- Nutrition
- Social support
- Parental involvement.
Delivered by the Public Health Agency of Canada.
Eligibility
First Nations, Inuit and Métis children (ages 3 - 6) and their families living off-reserve.
