Service Description
Program focuses on three key areas:
- Employment Readiness and Workplace Skills – includes career exploration, resume and cover letter preparation, job search and interview skills, industry courses and certifications, workplace expectations and work placement opportunities.
- Literacy Enhancement and Academic Preparation – refresh and develop literacy skills in communication, math and computers related to the workforce and further training.
- Personal Life Management – gain personal insights to enhance self understanding; identify and address potential factors that impact successful entry and retention in the workforce and school.

Essential Skills for the Workplace programsare delivered in a blended format (a complimentary mix of both virtual and in class instruction). Students will need to have access to a computer and internet.
