Service Description
Smokers’ Helpline (SHL) is a free, confidential service that provides personalized support, advice and information about quitting smoking.
- By phone at 1-877-513-5333, Quit Coaches can help clients develop a personalized quit plan, answer questions about quitting, provide self help materials and make community based referrals.
- Smokers’ Helpline Text Messaging is an interactive service that offers clients additional support and is used via a mobile device. Ontario residents can sign up for text support by texting iQUIT to 123456.
- Smokers’ Helpline Web (SHL.CA), www.smokershelpline.ca, is an interactive web based service where registrants have their own personal Quit Centre.
