Service Description
Responds to the needs of victims of crime and traumatic events.
- Provides emotional and practical support during the first few critical hours
- Offers a listening ear, comfort and reassurance
- Connects with individuals at home, hospital or by telephone
- Prepares victims for court and will accompany if requested
- Makes referrals to services such as counselling, crisis lines, shelters, funeral homes, social services and more.
