Service Description
Provides support to women and girls involved in the justice system as they transition back into their community. Support services include:
- Attend probation meetings
- Search for transitional and long-term housing; view apartments
- Transportation to food bank, appointments, prescriptions, to and around Saskatoon
- Social assistance advocacy
- Child and family reunification support
- Obtain educational transcripts
- Assist with furniture and household items
- Assistance with getting ID (birth certificates, health cards, treaty cards)
- Referrals to in-patient treatment beds
- Court appearance reminders and transportation
- Provides clothing and hygiene products
- Accompaniment to emergency mental health services
- Communication with family members
- Provides brief, solution-focused interventions and planning and more.
Eligibility
Provincially and federally sentenced women.
