Service Description
Offers no-fee, group programming to caregivers and children who have been exposed to violence or disharmony, supporting them in their healing journey. Groups run for seven or ten weeks each fall, winter and spring.
- Children (aged five – fifteen) – Take part in supportive groups with age-appropriate content that assists in learning about healing and emotions through discussions, creative crafts and fun activities.
- Caregivers and Parents – Caregivers and parents attend alongside their children and receive support and education about the impacts of violence and trauma on families and children. They have a safe and supportive space to explore healing and coping mechanisms.
