Service Description
YOUTH SHELTER: 306-244-2844
A youth residence that provides up to six youth (ages 16-21) with a safe and comfortable environment to learn valuable life skills and help them move towards an independent and fulfilling life. Provides:
- Basic food and personal items
- Crisis counselling
- Assistance to legal resources and educational supports
- Referrals to medical professionals if required
- Advocacy on behalf of the youth
- Life skills education (budgeting, financial responsibility, food preparation, grocery shopping, care for physical, mental health and well-being).
Eligibility
Young women aged 16 - 21.
