Service Description
Preventative program focused on youth in care and young single parents where youth mentors take a culturally relevant approach to provide
- life skills curriculum including coping and problem-solving
- education for young moms in learning how to care for the household, themselves and their babies
- support with job search, attending education or pre-employment programs
- support while attending parenting groups or sessions, treatment
- assistance in locating and maintaining safe, secure and affordable housing
- one on one counselling and group participation
- goal orientated transportation
Eligibility
Youth ages 8-18
