Service Description

Preventative program focused on youth in care and young single parents where youth mentors take a culturally relevant approach to provide

  • life skills curriculum including coping and problem-solving
  • education for young moms in learning how to care for the household, themselves and their babies
  • support with job search, attending education or pre-employment programs
  • support while attending parenting groups or sessions, treatment
  • assistance in locating and maintaining safe, secure and affordable housing
  • one on one counselling and group participation
  • goal orientated transportation

Youth ages 8-18
