Service Description
Provides a ten bed, four month, residential program for Indigenous female youth, between the ages of 12 and 17, who are involved with drugs/alcohol and inhalant misuse, and who are experiencing related problem areas. The Treatment Program:
- is culturally based and family oriented,
- provides intensive casework and group sessions to review individual problems and uncover existing strengths,
- is based on a holistic treatment model including the Spiritual, Emotional, Mental, and Physical,
- includes participation in the Equine Assisted Learning program twice per week.
Eligibility
Indigenous female youth 12 - 17 years of age.
