Service Description

A program that addresses the increase of young children experiencing anxiety and worry.

  • Provided with the idea that early intervention and preventative measures are important for children as they journey through to adolescence.
  • With early intervention, children experiencing anxiety and worry will gain the resiliency and connection required to cope with whatever hardships they endure in the present and in the future.
  • Children participating in this program may go through a variety of topics, including:
    • Getting to Know Your Worry Triggers
    • Worry in the Body
    • Night Time Worries
    • Mindfulness
    • Emotional Awareness and Regulation
    • Resilience and Bravery.

Eligibility

Students in grades 3 - 6.
