Service Description
Offers a three-hour workshop that empowers individuals to understand gender-based violence and be positive allies at no cost. Offered virtually at the YWCA, or a desired location, and can be broken down into more than one session. Includes:
- Understanding Gender-Based Violence and why it’s an issue for everyone
- Rape Culture versus Consent Culture
- Understanding power, privilege and intersectionality
- Learning positive bystander intervention strategies and how to be a good ally
- Healthy versus unhealthy relationships
- Emotional intelligence
- Healthy masculinity
- Safe bystander intervention.

For people of all genders. Presentations can be customized for the audience. Available for community groups, schools, corporations, organizations and more.
