Service Description
Provides support to families with identified needs varying from basic life skills to routine parenting strategies to encourage a healthy home environment. Family Support Workers work with families in the home and community to achieve desired outcomes. Support services include:
- In-home Family Support – Staff offer a hands on approach to problem solving
- Transportation For Children’s Appointments – These are for appointments that have been deemed necessary for case plan success.
- Supervised Visits – Visits take place in the PARTNERS office or community setting when deemed necessary by the Ministry of Social Services.
Eligibility
Families can be referred to the Family Support Program via a community resource or by self-referral by contacting the office.
