Service Description
Provides flexibly scheduled and routed transportation services using low-capacity vehicles such as vans for community residents who do not have private transportation and are unable to use the fixed-route public transportation system.
If you have mobility problems you need to have a caregiver ride with you and if you use a wheelchair you must have someone accompany you.
Mobility aids must be in working order and if you need someone to travel with you, the ride is complimentary from your home and back.
Eligibility
Older adults and individuals with disabilities who need transportation.
Application Process
Call to schedule a ride. Call one week in advance for out of town trips.
Fees
In-town rates - $6 one way or round trip with each additional stop required costing an additional $1 per.
Out-of-town rates - $0.70 per kilometer plus driver's wages plus $10 for each extra person.
