Service Description
Provides flexibly scheduled and routed transportation services using low-capacity vehicles such as vans for community residents who do not have private transportation and are unable to use the fixed-route public transportation system.
Eligibility
Older adults and people of all ages who have a disability.
Application Process
Client must have a driver approved through SGI (Saskatchewan Government Insurance) and the Handi-Van Committee.
Arrangements to use the Handi-Van can be made through the town office Mon - Fri 9 am - noon, 1 pm - 4 pm.
Fees
In town - $1 one way
Out-of-town: mileage charge of $0.75 per kilometer.
