Cut Knife and District Handi-Van Service

Service Description
Provides flexibly scheduled and routed transportation services using low-capacity vehicles such as vans for community residents who do not have private transportation and are unable to use the fixed-route public transportation system.
Most of the drivers are local volunteers. Book a week in advance for out-of-town trips.
Eligibility
Older adults and people of all ages with disabilities.
Application Process
Handi-van can be rented. Arrangements can be made to hire a driver when the wheelchair lift is required.
Fees
$0.55 per kilometer
Must be returned with a full tank of gas.
