Free Programming for Parents and Children

Call to register for all classes as space is limited.

Smiles and Tears – Newborn – one year old (Mondays 1:00 pm and Wednesdays 10:00 am).
Provides an informal discussion about aspects of motherhood and more formal presentations from guest speakers covering a variety of parenting babies topics. Drop-ins welcome.

Toddler Hour – Ages one – two
Provides an informal space where parents can enjoy time for themselves while sharing their experiences and toddlers socialize.

Kindermusik – Ages one – five and parent (Tuesdays 1:00 pm)
Offers a combination of different activities: playing, moving and singing. Improves rhythmic competency, develops a sense of steady beat, achieves the ability to match pitches, acquaintance with timbre, learn a repertoire of songs, experience many different instruments, increases ability to listen, gain a love of music. Free of charge. Registration required; space is limited.

Craftastic – Ages one – five, always with a parent.
Offers messy and fun experiments and activities. Free of charge. Runs in five sessions over course of the year. Registration required; space is limited.

Yoga – Ages two – five with parent.
Offered at the Guardian & Me Yoga at Higher Conscious Connections Studio (122 3rd St NE). Yoga increases mobility, balance, strength & Coordination. It also helps to regulate emotions, boost confidence, increase focus and self –awareness.

Bakers 2 Be – Ages two – five with parent (Thursdays 10:30 am – 11:30 am and 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm).
Offers a safe environment to create a kid friendly meal. Free of charge. Runs in five sessions over course of the year. Registration required; space is limited.

Creative Combo Class – Ages two – five (Wednesdays 10:00 am).
Offers three of the most popular classes all in one class. 6-week session will have Kindermusik, Craftastic class and Bakers 2 Be. Children can dance, sing, play instruments, crafts and bake.
