Virtual Beading Workshops

Offers a variety of Indigenous culture workshops:

• Virtual Beading Workshop – weekly, online beading workshops.  Evenings offer a safe space, emotional security and the ability to create community and connect with a variety of Indigenous kin from across the nation.  Participants receive a pre-packaged kit and together they share the knowledge of traditional healing and learn together.
• Ribbon Skirt / Shirt Workshop – shares space with other agencies in the creation of ribbon skirts/shirts while learning the history of Indigenous culture and the importance of ceremonial clothing.
• Land Acknowledgement Workshop – gearded towards busineses, corporations and individuals looing to further their knowledge of treaty four, the land and the importance of their roles to acknowledge the land in a good way.
• Power Within Our Stories Workshop – geared towards youth, youth workers and schools. Presentations on personal stories and Indigenous storytelling, with an emphasis on the importance of the stories we tell ourselves.
