Service Description

A supportive housing program for young mothers and their children focused on stability, learning, and independence.

Provides:

  • safe, affordable housing in independent units for up to eight mothers and their young children
  • access to youth workers, parent support staff, street outreach, and an Elder
  • opportunities to build life skills and community through activities, sharing circles, and positive social gatherings
  • referrals and connections to community supports such as addiction, mental health, FASD, education, and employment services

The program helps mothers reduce barriers related to homelessness, food insecurity, addiction, and mental health by offering a stable environment to focus on growth and parenting.

Eligibility

Mothers and their young children who have been referred by EGADZ staff.
