Street Outreach Program
Provided by: Street Workers Advocacy Project Regina Inc
Provides an evening street outreach program focusing on harm reduction, engagement and crisis support for those working in the street sex trade. Staff distribute condoms, bad date sheets, refreshments, as well as provide counselling and crisis intervention/support.
Persons involved in street prostitution, including sexually exploited youth and youth at risk (at risk usually means exposed to an environment of one or more of: heightened violence, drugs/alcohol, high unemployment rates, leaving school without learning, early and risky sexual behaviors), as well as other street involved people.
The SWAP Outreach van is active on the streets between the hours of 8:30 pm and 1:30 am.
