Service Description
Drop in space that offers:
- an extreme weather space during times of excessive heat and cold
- phone
- coffee
- information and applications for income support
- referrals to food bank, advocacy and court support
- transportation to appointments
- HIV outreach program – supports for HIV positive and at risk individuals
- bi-monthly Syphilis and HIV testing and treatment clinic in partnership with the wellness wheel
- youth outreach program – support for sexually exploited youth and youth at risk
- life skills and employment program – 6 week program to reduce barriers to employment and education
Eligibility
Individuals working in the street sex trade, sexually exploited or at-risk youth, and other marginalized and vulnerable individuals
Application Process
All housing clients must be referred through CAR
Initial applications to CAR can be completed at SWAP
