Service Description
Offers a supported residential program for 15 men who have been diagnosed with psychiatric illness, behavioral problems, and/or substance abuse. Includes:
- 24/7 support staff
- Private rooms
- Meals, laundry, housekeeping
- Clothing and personal hygiene products
- Mental health support
- Medication administration and monitoring
- Assistance with financial management
- Spiritual care and inter-agency referral
- Advocacy.
Works in partnership with the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA).
Eligibility
Adult males.
Application Process
Intake is coordinated by the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) System-Wide Administration and Discharge Department (SWADD). Referrals can be made to the SWADD for assessment/admission consideration by the family physician, health care workers, and persons with "significant" interest/concern.
