Service Description
Individualized support and advocacy for people with intellectual disabilities and their families to help navigate services, systems, and rights
Supports include:
- help identifying issues and priorities
- research and information on rights, policies, procedures, and options
- assistance navigating appeals and decision-making processes
- help accessing programs and referrals to community services
- support completing forms and paperwork
- publications and resources available online
- navigation of systems including health and mental health, education, social services, housing, justice and policing, employment, human rights, Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada, and personal finances

Individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families
Application Process
Complete the support request form on the agency website
- phone support available if the form cannot be completed independently
