Service Description
French education opportunities are available to all Saskatchewan residents. French Immersion and Core French are offered in schools throughout of the province.
The Conseil des écoles fransaskoises offers French as a first language education throughout the province. This is a Francophone language environment where all subjects are offered in French, with the exception of English Language Arts, which starts in Grade four.
French Immersion is a second-language program for students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. French is used as the language of instruction for most courses, besides English Language Arts, for a large part of the school day.
Core French is a second-language program for students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. French is taught as a subject or course.
