Service Description
Provides a temporary sober housing solution for individuals who are being released into the community and/or otherwise able to live independently but need assistance in various areas while securing permanent housing. Provides up to an 18 month stay for individuals who are being released from provincial or federal institutions or who have currently criminal justice involvement. During the stay, individuals will be supported in obtaining government issued ID’s, medical care, life skills, addressing addictions, education, employment, community support connections, and permanent housing. Provides 11 transitional housing suites and four second-stage housing suites.
Eligibility
For individuals who are: - motivated to change - have a willingness to follow expectations of sobriety - are 18 years and older - are justice involved and already connected with STR8 UP - are Saskatchewan residents - are willing to case plan and connect with support staff - want to attend programming based on their needs
