Service Description

Community youth programs (12 weekly, 1-hour sessions) for children with intellectual disabilities, offered in Estevan, Moose Jaw, Regina, Saskatoon and Swift Current

  • Active Start – a family-centered program where children learn basic motor skills such as walking, running, jumping and throwing in a fun and safe environment
  • FUNdamentals – this program is a continuation of the Active Start Program for athletes, and transitions from basic movement skills to basic sports skills, while maintaining an atmosphere of fun and meaningful interaction

Eligibility

Children with an intellectual disability, cognitive delay, or a developmental disability who reside in Saskatchewan
Active Start: 2 - 6 years old
FUNdamentals: 7 - 12 years old
