Service Description

Brain injury support groups offer:

  • encouragement to survivors and their families to learn what support systems are in place for them.
  • socializing with others who understand the challenges of living with a brain injury.
  • an opportunity to make new friends and connect with others.
  • new strategies to deal with challenges due to brain injury.
  • inspiration when seeing others with brain injuries succeed in particular areas of their lives.

Eligibility

Individuals and families dealing with the effects of traumatic or acquired brain injury. Information/Resource Centre is for students, professionals, survivors, and their families.
