Service Description

Provides access to acute health services such as emergency, ambulatory care, diagnostic services, and appropriate inpatient hospital stays.

Services provided at the Cypress Regional Hospital (CRH) in Swift Current include:

  • Emergency
  • Cardiac Lab
  • Medical/Surgical
  • Laboratory
  • Surgery – obstetrics and gynecology, urology, opthalmology, minor ear, nose and throat surgery, minor orthopaedic surgery, dental surgery
  • Internal medicine
  • Psychiatry
  • On-site radiology
  • Intensive care unit
  • Satellite Renal Dialysis and Oncology Outreach Program.

Services provided at the community hospitals in Herbert, Leader, Maple Creek, and Shaunavon include:

  • Emergency
  • Medical/Surgical
  • Palliative care
  • Convalescence
  • Basic laboratory and diagnostic imaging.
