Service Description
Provides settlement support to school aged children and their families.
- Assists with the school registration process
- Provides support to students as they transition into a new school system
- Arranges student/parent meetings, including 3-way conferences
- Bridges the gap between home and school communication
- Provides interpreter / translator services
- Family support
- Registration for extracurricular activities
- Promotes cultural sensitivity in the school and community
- Connects families with resources and services in the community.
Region includes all areas of North West Central Saskatchewan.
Eligibility
Individuals who are new to Canada.
