Service Description
Provides 60 unfurnished one bedroom suites, for older adults 55+, who are physically and mentally capable of living independently. Each suite is equipped with individual thermostat control, air-conditioning, fridge and stove. Maintenance and repair of the building is supplied by the corporation’s staff. Tenants are responsible for the maintenance and repair of personal property. Includes:
- centrally-located lounge area on each floor,
- no cost laundry room located on the 2nd floor,
- SecurTek medical pendant,
- security doors,
- limited parking,
- outdoor patio areas on each floor.
Eligibility
Older adults 55+. Currently has a one year waiting list.
Application Process
Currently a one year waiting list. Rental applications are accepted in the order they are received. For more information, call the main office at 306-374-8900. Application can be completed via the website.
Fees
Rates are set by the Board of Directors annually, based on a break-even policy calculated to cover the operating and mortgage payment costs. April 2023: Single Occupancy $900 per month, Double Occupancy $950 per month. Parking: $40 per month. All utilities are included in the monthly rate. Telephone, cable television, and internet are the responsibility of the tenant.
